The Ole Miss team TCU beat in the Peach Bowl is nothing like the team that beat Alabama. Ole Miss suffered lots of injuries to key players. Remember a 7-6 Arkansas team filled with 3 star recruits shut them out 32-0, so I wouldn't get too excited thinking TCU beat an elite SEC team.

Also, Ole Miss is not an elite 4/5 star school yet. They only have had 1 top 10 recruiting class in their history. To be an elite recruiting school, you need to have 2-3 top 10 classes every 4 years. Only a few schools qualify (Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State, USC, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, as well as Texas A&M and Tennessee now). Ole Miss might reach that level in 2 years.
Guess that explains why Missouri came to the SEC stomping everybody out with their elite recruits :ehh:

First of all, the only teams in the east that recruited at an elite level from 2010-2013 were Georgia and Florida. And Georgia has hammered Missouri consistently. Missouri's success in terms of winning the east has largely been because they've avoided alot of the elites from the West. Unlike georgia that has to play Auburn every year. Mizzou has yet to play Alabama, Auburn, or LSU in the last 2 years.

Now that Tennessee is back to recruiting at an elite level. And with Missouri hopefully facing some of the elites from the West, we'll see if they can still be a factor in the East. I think they're gonna fall back into the middle of the conference with the likes of South Carolina. Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee will be back to dominating this side of the conference.

90% of their opponents the last 2 seasons

They have a terrible record against ranked teams. Almost all their wins are against UNRANKED teams. Missouri's won the east for 2 reasons. (1) georgia has slipped up against an inferior non-ranked opponent. (2) Missouri has avoided tough cross-divisional opponents (no Alabama, Auburn, or LSU).

I'm pretty sure Missouri won't win the East again. Its highly unlikely all the flukey shyt that has happened the last 2 years happen again.

If Florida, Georgia, or Tennessee beats Mizz and loses to the ONE western rival they play yearly then they would still win the division so......

I have no idea what you're talking about. But refer to my last post. Missouri never beats any good teams and has needed Georgia to slip up to win the East. Also I wouldn't get too giddy over Missouri winning the East as if thats an accomplishment. South Carolina (a very mediocre program without a history of elite recruiting) won the East in 2010 and had a number of 11 win seasons the last 5 years.

the East has simply been BAD the last 4-5 years with Florida and Tennessee being down.

I'm talking about that playing the west BS excuse. They play A&M every season and beat them in their last 2 meetings so far.

Mizz was "down" their first year in the SEC and then came back FLEXING so stop with the weak ass "being down" excuses

We'll find out soon enough if Mizzou is legit. Like I've said. I've watched them get DESTROYED the last 2 years by quality opponents (Auburn, Alabama, and Georgia). IMO Mizzou winning the East the last 2 years is similar to Baylor and TCU winning the Big 12. I think its more the result of the historical powers (Oklahoma/Texas and Tennessee/Florida) being down than Mizzou or Baylor/TCU being elite programs now.

Lets see what happens to Mizzou when Florida and Tennessee start playing football again. I gotta feeling they'll crawl right back into the hole they came from. Same with TCU and Baylor getting put in their place by Texas and Oklahoma.
