You must have forgotten that Chad Morris was Gus light. There was a reason why Clemson had a potent offense. The QB that SMU has was originally recruited by Chad Morris which is why he is already beasting.

Texas should have hired Chad Morris :blessed:

Man all I knew was last year it was 48-0 and I thought. I THOUGHT Baylor had a fukking Defense. But I was wrong.

Your top 4 is based on fukking recruiting swag

That shyt doesn't mean everything

until proven otherwise, its the most realiable indicator of future success. the last 3 national champs (Alabama, Ohio State, and Florida State) had 2-3 top 5 recruiting classes that preceded their titles. college football is all about DEPTH. injuries are inevitable. if this was madden and you could turn off injuries, then maybe I'd give less weight to recruiting. but until then, i'm sticking with this philosophy.

@Rigby. based on my analysis, these are the only teams with a chance to win the national title:

Tier ONE
1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. LSU

***gap***

Tier TWO
4. Florida State
5. Texas A&M
6. Auburn
7. Georgia
8. Notre Dame

Auburn is a favorite but I think a tier below Ohio State, Alabama, and LSU. Those teams are just a step ahead of everyone else.

We are not the #1 team in the country right now breh :heh: The QB position alone is the reason

FSU, LSU, and Bama don't even have QBs for Christ's sakes :heh: (good ones anyway)

I like Brandon Harris. He'll be a very good QB. Not Jeremy Johnson elite but good enough. His advantage is that he has more talent to work with. Jeremy Johnson on LSU would be a shoe-in for the national title. Auburn just doesn't have the same level of talented depth that LSU has.

Auburn is still very good, don't get me wrong. But I like Alabama, LSU, and A&M just ahead of them.

well you do have to look at the quarterback position and a lackluster quarterback will bring any of the teams you have in tier 1 down with or below the teams you have in tier 2. Which I guess means Ohio State is still #1 right now, until we see what these other teams have. That's why they play the games.
