Heat of the moment after the game. I actually spent Sunday watching the game over again. We lost because stoops outcoached butch jones the second half. In the 3rd and 4th quarter Oklahoma started blitzing every down to stop the run option between Dobbs and Hurd. Rather than adjusting to that by throwing passes on early downs to loosen up the defense, we kept running on 1st and 2nd down. This led to long 3rd downs.
It wasn't until OT that we adjusted and threw on 1st down to open up room for the run game. But by then it was too late cause our defense was too tired to stop Oklahoma's offense. We were the better team for 3 quarters. Our coaches just failed not the players.
Tennessee and Oklahoma are 2 of the 5 best teams in the country. By the end of the season everyone will see what I see.
I'll be the last man standing when we hold up the college football Playoff trophy. Best believe dat.

They had the PERFECT opportunity to make a statement last year by beating Florida. The atmosphere was similar to the OU game, except it was a noon kick. And Tennessee managed to only put up....9 points
