Man I'm just saying. Fan base takes up the personality of Saban. Team wins, all credit goes to Saban's game planning & etc....team loses, blame Kiffin. Secondary is horrible. These nikkas never look for the ball, and Saban the secondary coach. They defense is strong up the middle and thats it. You can pass all day and run outside

And I keep seeing "Bama need to go back to smash mouth". Henry had 23 carries AND Bama ran 100 plays (42 were runs). They want breh to have 50 carries or some shyt AND that offensive line ain't hitting on shyt. Wouldn't have to throw so much if the defense could stop someone Coker might be a lot of things but weak armed ain't one. Better protection and that last pass gets made and worse case, slightly overthrown.

They relied on Amari so much last year for offense. Now you got a new qb, young offensive line, and young receivers. They still put up points. They D though

I know he's the residential piñata but how does Bama defense always skate from criticism and all the blame falls on Kiffin? Saban and Smart supposed to be these defensive geniuses and have all this top notch talent but the way I've seen them get sliced and diced the past 2-3 seasons, you gotta start questioning that side of the ball and the men everyone love to hold up as the gold standard that coach them. Kiffin offense ain't giving up ALL them points

And the bolded is where I believe the trouble begins. No pass rush and them DBs getting exposed. All them stars at CB and safety and no one to coach them up.

Secondary play has been a consistent problem for us since 2012. Wasn't as big a problem then, but we've given up 35+ plus points in 3 of the last 6 games. Something has to change. It used to be rare for us to even give up 28 points. And Marcel Dareus was the last legit pass rusher we had, and John Chapman & Damien Square were good pass rushers too
