Stevens chose the Tigers over in-state Tennessee as well as Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State and other schools.
He is an ultra-athletic junior prospect who could play either side of the ball at the next level. As a sophomore, Stevens totaled 279 receiving yards on 19 receptions and added 50 tackles, including five for loss, on defense.
LSU is off to a great start with its 2017 class. Stevens becomes the second ESPN Junior 300 commitment for the Tigers, joining defensive tackle and ESPN No. 4
Tyler Shelvin.
Les Miles' team currently has 18 commits for 2016, including 12 ranked in the ESPN 300, and is second in ESPN's latest class rankings.
