That's why getting rid of Les wasn't the automatic answer. It's not an historic powerhouse that you can guarantee will get another top coach and be elite again

I know the area has great talent but it's not Bama or somewhere that you can guarantee will always contend with the right hire

Don't really know. His grandmother died about 2 weeks ago, so he's probably going thru all kinds of emotions. Probably just said fukk it, this is the end of the road(His football career)

I never said LSU a prestiges school but 3 championship runs since 2000 and being NFLU is nothing to sneeze at

Alabama and OU are incredibly close as programs. UA losing and OU winning out could switch their two total wins rankings

LSU is 12th and AU is 13th...19 wins difference....LSU having a combined 19 wins in the two recent seasons (2012, 2015) where Auburn had 3 wins and might reach 7 this year. LSU is sort of new money, being an actual elite program in the 50s on with a bad stretch from the 80s to the 90s

Auburn is incredibly inconsistent, but they usually aren't shytty for any long stretch of time, which is pretty incredible when you consider they dont have many back to back 10 win seasons

Nice to see Chizik has the most improved defense tho , I at no point thought thought he was a bad defensive mind, I just felt like he stretched himself too thin by trying to interfere with the offense and tamper with whatever DC was running the defense. When Roof was let go in 2011 and Chizik was the defensive mind against UVA, that was one of the best games we had the whole year on that side of the ball.
