Damn breh I thought you were decided on Russell.

I am good on Russell but I have concerns like with anyone else, his defensive potential doesn't seem that high and he isn't an elite athlete.

Over the last week I been in chill mode, honestly IDGAF who we pick, who ever it is will suceed whether it be Russell, Kristaps, Hezonja, Winslow, Mudiay

When Ricky Rubio is your PG and you finally realize Ricky Rubio is your PG there's a chance you do draft Russell.

That wouldn't even be close to the issue.

1. They could coexist in the same backcourt (Russell's probably gonna wind up eventually moving over to SG in his career anyway)

2. The professional dunker is who would fukk it all up.

All that said, VERY slim chance they pick Russell at 1. They're drafting a PG anyway since they only have 2.

The biggest issue I have with Russell is that he mostly struggled against good teams. Too many games where he played like ass and THAT, not just the team he was on, came back to bite them.

And for a guy his size and his shooting ability, you'd rather him shoot a three than make a layup

I'm getting intrigued with Kristaps 7'1 big with two way potential Could sub for Nerlens or Embiid in an offense-defense type role and works with either big as a stretch 4. Would make doubling Embiid impossible

Or, just trade Nerlens for a PG.


The fact that yall have Saric in your back pocket leads me to believe the Porzingis shyt is real, mainly because of the fact Saric isn't much of a shooter and could destroy spacing if he's on the floor with Embiid & Nerlens even with shooters at the 1 & 2. But, he's a ball handling 4 kind of like Odom, if you put him on the floor with Porzingis then you don't have to worry about the spacing as much as if you had Nerlens, Saric and Embiid out there together.

It has nothing to do with Ricky. They have no depth there. If Flip thinks Zach's the answer then Wiggins gotta go.
