If I'm the 76ers I take Okafor and see how much I can get from the Knicks. Could end up with Mudiay and TH.Jr who sucks but can shoot I think not a bad haul and we can start actually crafting a roster.

Or take Okafor and let all 3 bigs compete and see if any can lead the franchise. Great insurance for an Embiid/Oden situation.

Latest NYK info from sources: if Okafor/Russell gone, Knicks like either Kristaps Porzingis, Frank Kaminsky or Trey Lyles. Mudiay hovering

Towns projects to be a MONSTER, can play both sides of the ball too

I think he was held back at UK (not in a bad way, just how Cal runs his team - see Brow for past example)

i was a towns guy back in january when everyone was still slobbing all over okafor but this shyt is getting ridiculous. Towns has now become SEVERELY OVERHYPED.

he's a good prospect, but nikkas is talking about him like he's the next Dwight or Anthony Davis. he's a solid prospect. he'll be LaMarcus Aldridge with better defense or a taller Al Horford. but he's not a transcendent prospect. Okafor has a better chance of becoming transcendent because of his sublime post skills.

Towns is good at everything. great at none. he'll be a really good pro. but he's no "monster." the last "monster" to enter the league was Andrew Wiggins.

I feel like they could do even better then #4 & Mudiay

They should be able to get some young, established players back for Okafor

Towns is great all-around.. he does not have one dominant trait like Russell or Okafor do.. that has to be concerning

If Okafor falls they should just take him. Who knows when or if Embiid will be ready. Noel will cover up a lot of defensive mistakes that Okafor will make.
