Alright brehs, I'm a Twolves fan.. Someone who studies these guys and these teams in and out, what should I be rooting for?

I know Towns has been told he's the pick, but is he really the real deal? I know what I've seen. I've seen a player in high school who was aggressive on both ends, ran the floor, shot jumpers, played with athleticism, etc. but I also saw a guy in college who was a pretty traditional back to the basket big man type.

Can someone tell me which Towns the Twolves are hoping to cultivate? Is he really worth the #1? Can he be on the same level, or at least close, as Anthony Davis? Or should I stop dreaming now?

Someone give me the low down

Towns could be a rich man's Rasheed Wallace, or LaMarcus Aldridge with more defense, those are the guys he most closely resembles from a game standpoint.

There's also the outside chance he could be similar to Dirk, the sky is the limit for him as long as he stays healthy. He's one of the new age PFs, guy with a post game and 3 point shot that will be used in small ball lineups as a 5, but play almost like a SF when he's paired with a big center.

Ainge tried but the team overachieved mostly due to Brad Stevens. Only the biggest Celtic homers actually thought we would make it in. Ainge has subtly stated on numerous occasions that he didn't want them to make the playoffs

Yeah overachieving can hurt you in the long run.

That's what happened to the Suns they thought they'd be awful 2 years ago they overachieved and are now stuck in the treadmill

Charlotte fukking up last minute mocks

Boston would've had to come up off pick 33 too, 9 to 16 is a big drop and Sullinger doesn't quite make up the difference
