:russ: Moved on from Eddie huh

Nostalgia musta got me. I watched the 99 Bills-Titans game on NFL Network a few weeks back. Jalen is on another level from Eddie as a runner.

Eddie was more one cut down the hill. Jalen runs more like Le'Veon Bell. He's a multiple cut agile RB with incredible acceleration through the hole. He's also a great pass catcher.

A bigger faster Le'Veon Bell is the best comparison for Jalen Hurd IMO.

Wait a minute Rigby imma let you finish... but let me get this straight.

First game....vs an offense that returns all but 1 skill player (WR Peake...but we get Mike Williams back) and carved a Bama defense apart that was truly LEGIT...and y'all are with a new DC in Kevin Steele who was our former DC and is who Gus said he should have put up 60 pts on when he was DC at Bama.

Let me give you a hint about Steele...he sucks at adjustments in game...so if Clemson finds the hole then don't expect him to correct it in game.

Don't believe me...see the games vs the RoosterCocks 09 -11. See 2011 WVU... see the Iron Bowl 2014...see LSU last 3 regular season games last year.

Do you really think that Clemson [which the Offensive staff met with Tom Herman a few weeks ago] is the team for y'all to try and swag into bc it's a home game?
I don't think you understand this program's ability to do incredible things

Fournette died?

Other than breakaway speed, Fournette has nothing on Hurd. Jalen is bigger, stronger, more physical. He has better agility and cutting agility. He's a better pass catcher and blocker. He hits the hole with as much acceleration and first step quickness.

Fournette is nice don't get it twisted. But he's the object of alot of hype. His oline really makes him look good alot. Look no further than the Alabama game. Hurd performed better against Alabama because our o-line isn't that good. And he's used to having to make guys miss in the backfield.

IMO Hurd, Cook, and Fournette are all in that same elite group alongside a few others like Chubb and Freeman.

Cook is #1 shyt ain't even fair what he was doing last season he was the entire offense pretty much and was injured for over 75 percent of season. Cook was out there trying to carry broomstick to a 5 star classic RB position as loaded as I can remember going into a season.

Cook is nice. He more Chris Johnson as a runner though. Don't know about the longevity. I think he kills it in the pros his first 3 years. Probably performs better than everyone else in the 2017 class.

But I think his size limits the longevity of his dominance.

Hurd even more than Fournette has a body made to withstand NFL pounding. Also I like Elijah Hood as a sleeper. He could have a better pro career than guys like Chubb who are more highly regarded.

:Umadatus: We coming for Peoples Jones next :Bombaye:

He's been to Knoxville 5 times already. I won't say we're a favorite but we have a shot. The kid either visited a few weeks ago or is coming back soon. I don't remember but he's been looking at us seriously.

Butch is from Michigan and has recruited the area pretty well. He stole John Kelly a 2015 RB from Jim Harbaugh last year. Not very highly rated but Michigan and Michigan State wanted him. And he's impressed in spring camp.

I like it. I don't think the current set up is fair to Missouri. Hell South Carolina and Texas A&M having to travel that far each year is crazy.

Gus ass know he ain't winning the west no time soon. Hell yeah he all for shuffling things up

We're the last team to do it other than Bama in the past 4 years........:francis:

Florida is a natural rival too, along with Tennessee.........we don't get to play that often anymore with the current setup.

Our o-line was shyt! Yu reference the Alabama game that game exposed them more than Fournette. There were defender in the backfield before Fournette was even handed the ball
