lmfaoOn Tuesday, the ACC and SEC proposed two different NCAA rule changes, both of which seem to be at least partially directed at what Jim Harbaugh and Michigan have done at Michigan in the last calendar year.
This rule would prohibit the use of secondary campuses for universities to hold what are called "satellite camps". Michigan raised the ire of multiple head coaches down south when the Wolverines went on their "Summer Swarm" tour last June; a nine-day camp tour that included stops in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas and Indianapolis among others.
The second proposal, brought forth by the SEC, would eliminate coaches instructing at off-campus events, such as the satellite camps. It would also prohibit a situation such as Michigan's "Exposure U" in Ann Arbor last summer, where Harbaugh extended an invite to any coach in the country to help instruct at Michigan's summer camp. Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald accepted the invite and was one of the keynote speakers of the camp.
