There isn't a second best conference. There's the SEC and a bunch of good teams.

Only teams outside the SEC worth a damn:

ACC - Florida State & Clemson
Big 10 - Ohio State & Michigan
Pac 12 - USC, UCLA, Stanford
Big 12 - Oklahoma & Texas

TCU and Baylor in the Big 12, Wisconsin and Michigan State in the Big Ten, and Oregon in the PAC-12 are all relevant. And Notre Dame too.

TCU, Baylor, and Oregon are gimmick teams. They get exposed anytime they play teams that recruit elite talent.

Notre Dame is relevant but they aint in a conference so thats why I didn't mention them.

Wisconsin and Michigan State are mirages. Products of a weak conference. Sorta like North Carolina in the ACC last year.

Tyner missed all of 2015 after undergoing surgery on his left shoulder, which he injured midway through his sophomore season. He’d injured his right shoulder in fall camp earlier that season, his father said, and the cumulative toll of the injuries prompted him to step away from the game.
