Nope.

SEC - Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, Florida, and Texas A&M.

All 8 have had multiple top 10 recruiting classes in the last 4 years.

Men lie. Women lie. Recruiting don't.
then you admit TN won't be shyt for the foreseeable future then, RIGHT?

I literally cant remember the last time they won the sec west

OLE MISS AINT shyt :camby:

They beat Alabama last year. Something no one else was able to do. Including the big 10 champ who got demolished in the playoffs.

I hate Ole Miss as much as anyone for their cheating but there is no denying they've been a top 10 program the last 2 years.

:dahell:

One class outside the top 10 aint bad. You acting like finishing #14 or #15 in a year of limited scholarships is the end of the world.

If we follow that up with another class ranked outside the top 10 next year, I'll agree with you.

But as of right now, 2017 has a chance to be Butch's GOAT class. Why? The instate talent in Tennessee for 2017 looks to be the best in a generation.

If we lockdown our state, we'll easily finish with another top 5 class.

They beat Bama the year before and so did OSU. I dont get your point. Top 10 program but cant win the sec let alone win their divison? Ok guru

but you've said repeatedly TN doesn't have much talent at all instate.

Typically yes.

2017 is just unusual. It's being called the best class of instate football prospects EVER in the state of Tennessee.

There are potentially 4 5* prospects in the state (ATH Jacoby Stevens, OT Trey Smith, WR Tee Higgins, ATH Maleik Gray). 2 more top 100 prospects (RB Ty Chandler, RB Cordarrian Richardson). And another 4 or 5 highly recruited 4* prospects.

Crazy amount of talent for a state like Tennessee.

That's cause the SEC is by far the toughest conference and the west by far the toughest division.

Put Ole Miss in the big 10 and they win it EASILY.

And Ohio State lost to Va-Tech 2 years ago.

Anyone can find one game outliers. Ole Miss still won 10 games in the toughest division in college football. And destroyed the #2 team in the big 12 in the sugar bowl.

They're also about to have 3 players picked in the top 10-15 of the NFL draft.

Ole Miss is a big time program.

Deal with it.

Big time programs win conferences point blank. Ole Miss doesnt fit that criteria. All the bag money and recruits they bring in dont change nothing. Underachieving ave program

Total 5* & 4* prospects signed from 2014-2016 (rivals.com):

1) Alabama: 53
2) Florida State: 50
3) Ohio State: 47
4) Tennessee: 46

In the last 3 recruiting classes (2014-2016), Butch Jones has signed a combined total of 46 prospects rated as 5* prospects and/or 4* prospects. Good for 4th nationally. The only 3 schools ahead of Tennessee are the last 3 national champs.

The breakdown is: 11 total (1-5* & 10-4*) signed in 2016 class, 17 total (4-5* & 13-4*) signed in 2015 class, & 18 total (2-5* & 16-4*) signed in 2014 class.

This is why Tennessee has a great chance to be a playoff team in 2016.
