I've never been okay with losing an opener, especially if its an opener to Clemson. I acknowledge they supposed to be the national runner up and all that stuff, but our defense is LEGIT. Unless Carl Lawson breaks his entire leg or some other freak accident, our defense gonna keep us in that game.
We just need JF3 to ball like only he can![]()
Well playedWait a minute Rigby imma let you finish... but let me get this straight.
First game....vs an offense that returns all but 1 skill player (WR Peake...but we get Mike Williams back) and carved a Bama defense apart that was truly LEGIT...and y'all are with a new DC in Kevin Steele who was our former DC and is who Gus said he should have put up 60 pts on when he was DC at Bama.
Let me give you a hint about Steele...he sucks at adjustments in game...so if Clemson finds the hole then don't expect him to correct it in game.
Don't believe me...see the games vs the RoosterCocks 09 -11. See 2011 WVU... see the Iron Bowl 2014...see LSU last 3 regular season games last year.
Do you really think that Clemson [which the Offensive staff met with Tom Herman a few weeks ago] is the team for y'all to try and swag into bc it's a home game?

In what year were you guys "all-time"? Damn sure wasn't 2013-2014.

Sorry @Silkk
And of course
I remember where I was, getting ready for Bama's first game under Saban later than evening. So I'm out and I come back home and I see App State leading Michigan 34-32 late in the 4th and I'm like. This was like the 2nd ever game on BTN too

Meyer said he’s not worried about how this will affect Ohio State, but how it will affect smaller programs.
“The biggest thing that I didn’t realize was … now the MAC schools can’t come here,” Meyer said Monday. “I mean probably hundreds of scholarships have come out of here to those young players. I know my son’s getting recruited now little bit. What camps do you send them to?
“Not many kids can play at Ohio State. But now Bowling Green (doesn’t) get a chance to watch them play. When I was at Bowling Green, you’d come to Ohio State’s camp because you’d get to see all these players. I wish they’d revisit part of that. I think sometimes there’s a kneejerk reaction because people complain. I get that. It’s a slippery slope.
“I’m not worried about the high-level players because they’re going to find a way to get where they’ve got to get. I’m talking about … there’s a big chunk of players out there that deserve to play major college football. I hope they revisit it.”
