We all knew Kai Locksley was a raw QB coming outta High School that needed a couple years to develop. He's a redshirt Freshman, he ain't ready to be the guy yet.
Our other Redshirt Freshman QB Matthew Merrick suffered a back injury during Spring Football so he wasn't able to take Jerrod Heard's reps when Heard went down with his injury
The coaching staff still needs to bring a Grad Transfer QB (i.e. Davis Webb). If it's a make or Break season for Coach Strong, you can't depend on a True Frosh QB.
