They have started to recruit so well now though that there one of the few schools that reload not rebuild

I'm not saying they definitely won't slip but they do have a shytload load of talent still

I'd rank Oklahoma a lil lower but the top 6 looks mostly right.

I'd prolly go:

1. Alabama - until knocked off they're the king
2. Clemson - best QB in the country but a lot of holes on defense
3. Tennessee - stacked roster, great QB, plus experience
4. FSU - another stacked roster but ? at QB
5. LSU - same as FSU but with even more ?s at QB
6. Ohio State - talented roster but almost no experience

These are the only legit national title contenders. I don't see anyone else hoisiting up the trophy in Tampa.

I am a Buckeye fan but no way are they a title contender this year. They lost a ton and I just don't think the younger guys are at the talent level of the players that left.

True. But the big 10 is so bad talent-wise that yall can easily go undefeated once again. Then it's all about getting the right matchup in the first playoff game. For example if you get a weak big 12 team like Oklahoma you have enough talent to beat them.

Then bam you in the championship game. And anything can happen in 1 game.

Only hole on defense is at one DB position but the talent is there. Our DL is still going to be solid as last year and i expect a slight decline at MLB pending Wiggins can make a comeback.

The only unexpected loss from this season on DB was TJ Green...so we've recruited for this. We all knew Mac, Lawson and Kearse were 3 and done. After Dodd played his ass off...we knew he was gone too. The backups played a bunch last year so this is why they feel this way.

The defense under Venables has been top 25 at worse. The last 2 years have been top 3 and top 8 so if they are top 15 to 20 this year....with the offense returning all but Peake and Brooks...they feel that Clemson can score on anyone and can win a shootout if they have to.
