Watching OU and Texas scrap in the 2000's was quality

Up till Bradford and Mccoy dipped

OU was still very good after Bradford. Not the first year, but we've only had 1 bad year since Bradford

Texas sucked after McCoy.

the Big 12 had 2 national champs and multiple national title appearances in the 2000's and was always in the mix that whole decade and into the early 10's

I remember one year there where several Big 12 teams were in the top 12.

Ummm, who was the SEC playing in 03, 09, 10? The Big 12.

WTH part of getting to the national title game is not being "neck and neck"? You're the number 1 or 2 team, and you're playing the best for the title of best. Pretty simple to understand....

You said "Neck & Neck", so I think 1a, 1b. Big 12 was definitely better than it is today, OK, UT, Mizzou, Colorado, Nebraska although UC and NEB fell after the early 2000s.

Harbaugh set the bar this high by coming in kicking down the door waving his big guns.He better produce on a elite level.By elite i mean a Saban/Meyer level.

On some level you know thas true but dont act like Saban didn't need a ramp-up period too. And Saban had a much smaller clean up period than what Harbaugh is going through now.

People lookin at us funny but Big 12 was neck and neck for the GOAT conf of the 2000's.

This. At least schools like Cincy, Memphis, & even Tulane would be 2nd biggest programs in their state.

UCF & USF would be the 4th and/or 5th biggest programs in Florida. For this same reason, SDSU is a no.

Yep, Bill Curry was a good coach, even won a SEC title, but he couldn't beat Auburn
