Brazil women got disqualified. The fans finna be booing the shyt out of USA tomorrow if they get upgraded for the final.

Doesnt this track have 9 lanes instead of 8? They could put the US in the field but just give them a wack lane.
Because we all know this is about entertainment. US/JAM sprint events are an Olympic staple.
9 lanes are only for the straight line sprints.
The whole track around is 8 lanes wide and they added the 9th lane on one straight side.

So its actually a viable strategy to get a team DQ'd since they wont be able to move on anyway if they appeal since all the lanes would be full. Yeah that is some grade A bullshyt.
