They keep talkin bout the Knicks need a pg like thats their biggest need but what about a true 5? Kyle o'quinn is cool but hes not what i consider a quality starting big.

I think the Knicks need a guard running mate to pair with KP.
Porzingis and Hernangomez are two young bigs. Noah has another three years remaining on his contract. Guard or wing is the obvious pick at #8.

Surely yall know noah isnt a 5 in the nba at this point so his contract is irrelevant

And You can't teach that.
Willy's a 6' 11" traditional back to the basket center. Noah started 46 games this despite being clearly outplayed by his backups (KOQ and Hernangomez).

KOQ is a solid back up Center.
Zach Collins isn't strong enough to play the 5. Even if he was he'd have a harder time staying on the court than he will at the 4.
Markannen is a lot closer to being a SF than he is a center.
Knicks just need to take Ntilikina if he's there. If not then go DSJ, there's a good chance he could be there at 8.
If Harry Giles can ever get healthy he's a top 3 player.
I would definitely take a shot at him in the late lottery simply because the reward is so great.
Remember this guy was the consensus #1 player in this class until he blew out his knee for a second time.
He can be "healthy" but I doubt he'll ever get the level of explosiveness back that he once had.
His whole game was based off of that. He can still be a decent rim runner and rebounder though, I just don't see him becoming top 3 in this class again.

I will laugh my ass off at kevin knox if diallo returns...cal out here selling dreams to knox about playing SG with shai gilgeous-alexander already there and diallo possily coming back. not to mention probably their only shooter in baker who will be eeded to spread the floor. i can almost guarantee that cal will be on the phone with diallo tonite telling him to keep his name in.
