Not saying it couldn't be true but Ford will sometimes hype certain guys because of their agents.

Yeah I had no idea stuff like that happened till a few years ago where they said Kiper would have some guy out of nowhere as a first round pick because his agent gives Kiper info all the time so he repays him

Giles is the 2K17 Harry Ellenson to Ford. He's never let go of his man crush for him

As for Fox vs. Ball, it's not that teams view Fox as better than Ball, but they don't wanna deal with Lavar's fukkery.
They'd have to think he was clearly superior. I don't think they feel the gap is that huge, so in that case, yes they'd factor in his dad.

The gap wasn't that huge in college, but it gets a bit wider at the NBA level. Out of all the top PGs Fox is the most likely to struggle and has the highest bust potential.

It has reversed for me. Throughout most of the season I had Fox ahead of everyone but Fultz. As of right now, I think Ball is firmly in that #2 PG slot (I have Ntilikina there, but Ball will go second).

I'd still rock with Dennis over Fox too, and personally I like Jawun more than Fox but I wouldn't draft it that way.

The Giles thing is ridiculous but it's Ford trying to look smarter than he is. Giles isn't going to be completely cleared, and if by some chance he is then I wouldn't bet against some Thon Maker type shyt to happen.

All it takes is one team to think they're outsmarting everyone else :manny:

I think it really comes down to the Suns. I don't feel like LaVar is as big of an issue as people think. Magic said it's no issue for him as well.

What I do think is more of an issue is getting Lonzo to stay in Phoenix or Orlando, I'm sure he'll play at least. But based on what Lonzo has said in the past, he just wants to ball and would probably have no problem playing in Phoenix at least.

It wouldn't be uncharacteristic of the Suns to take Fox though, and I wouldn't be against it either if they kept one of Knight or Bledsoe around with him for a season.

Pacers are bringing in these six Monday for their first pre-draft workout.

Jordan Bell
Josh Hart (:upsetfavre:)
Wesley Iwundu
Monte Morris
Caleb Swanigan
Derrick White

Monte is the only one who I really like the fit with us, although his name reminds me a little too much of Monta Ellis.

Ford saying that Giles could go top 10 if he gets medically cleared. Also saying that some teams have Fox ranked ahead of Lonzo

Of course, given the source there's a good chance of :duck:

Giles could go , but if NBA GMs look back in history they won't do it.

If Duval continues to slip away from Duke they could have some problems. I guess Grayson can run the point a little bit though.

would be a great pickup for the Bulls , strong kid, decent awareness, jumper , and strong drives.

Cameron Oliver is another guy who I wouldn't be surprised to see sneak into the end of the first round.
