I wouldn't send Diallo to Milwaukee (and as I've said already, I don't think Diallo should declare). If they really need a scorer they need a healthy Jabari Parker, but if not, they can opt for Kennard or Ferguson should they be there. Between Brogdon, Antetokounmpo and Dellavedova, I don't think they need another facilitator. I will say I don't think a player like Rashad Vaughn impacts their decision in any way.Makes perfect sense in round 1 and he is better than your boy Diallo by a mile. They need an ISO scorer and more spacing and Giannis allows Frank to develop slowly as a lead guard....not sure how Sumner fits.
Other guy they should look at is Kennard.
I think he realizes he's better off getting lucrative 2 year deals overseas than come back to the NBA, go to D-League and pray for a call-up. Anthony Randolph is probably good enough to give the NBA another try, but he's turned into a great player overseas. Once you've got it good out there, sometimes staying isn't the worst idea.Still don't know why he's not in the league. He's doing pretty well in Europe.

That's true. It's like with bobby brown from the Rockets. Dude took a paycut to bench warm all season instead of making the money + playing time he had in ChinaI think he realizes he's better off getting lucrative 2 year deals overseas than come back to the NBA, go to D-League and pray for a call-up. I don't consider Frank a facilitator....its his biggest weakness. What they don't have enough of is half-court scoring (even with Jabari). Frank can break his man down off the bounce and when he doesnt have the ball....he is great at moving off ball and catch and shoot.
Kennard and TFerg can work but they obviously have less upside than Frank IMO and the gap in shooting isn't large enough to justify passing on him.
I think getting a player like Frank would allow them to experiment with the next evolution of basketball, which would be a "smallball" lineup that has Giannis at the 5 on the floor with -
Frank
Brogdon
Middleton
Jabari
Giannis
With the smallest guy on the court being 6'5.

Jackson's not that guy, and if he couldn't do that right away at Duke he damn sure isn't doing it right away in Milwaukee.I have to disagree, the Bucks need another ball handler that can break down the defense and they simply cannot hang their future on Jabari being healthy now. The formula for a player like Giannis is that his sidekick/running mate has to be able to shoot the 3 when he's off ball, and also be able to create for himself. The last thing they need is another catch & shoot guy just standing around, neither Delly or Brogdon can break down a defense, so they need to find that somewhere.
he'd get swallowed up as a SG in the NBA. Combo guard through and through. When the game slows down, we already know Kennard got ice water in his veins and can play right away. They can address the backcourt, but they could get Williams-Goss and accomplish the same thing sooner at 48 than Jackson at 17. Besides, primarily if they can get a big in a big rich part of the draft, they should do it.The only reason he didn't "do it" at Duke is because K was trying to force him to be a PG.
11 ppg (17ppg/per40) with 40 3pt% on 3.6 attempts definitely aint no disappointment. And he got plenty of athleticism to mold.
