The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
im all in on the Bulls blowing it up at the draft(dont undersell though just to do it), love Jimmy but need to be real about the situation

im guessing the Celtics stay the course though, they are in such a great position regardless how they proceed

would Philly or Phoenix make a compelling Jimmy trade though? thoughts?

Denver would probably be interested

Boston won't give up the #1 pick for Jimmy nor should they

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
PG: Simmons
SG: Jackson
SF: Covington
PF: Saric
C: Embiid

Brett Brown has continuously said Simmons will be put at the PG spot. Not PF, SF.

He's also back tracked it when asked if Simmons would guard the 1.

You always get into conversations, “well that’s fine, who does he guard?” I don’t see him guarding the opposition’s point guard. It could end up he guards who guards him, so you’re not cross-matched in transition defense. Having said that, I expect that other teams aren’t gonna go put Chris Paul on Ben Simmons, or Isaiah Thomas on Ben Simmons

Nobody in that lineup can stop dribble penetration. This is why the Rockets have Patrick Beverly, the Cavs have Kyrie, the Lakers had Scott/Cooper with Magic, the Bucks have Brogdon/Delly, because you realistically can't have the lineup you're proposing.

I just dont know what we would get from Denver outside of their pick and I guess Harris(whom we traded away in McD trade)

Would they give up Murray & a pick?

The Celtics moving the 1st is really preference. If the Celtics want to capitlize on what they have with IT/Horford/etc, they could trade for Jimmy and make one more splash in FA(Gordon?)

Take Lopez too and you are possibly favorties in the East

I agree with you though, I would stay the course at this point

Nope, they like Murray a lot and have him above Mudiay now.

I'd call up the Blazers for McCollum + their picks for Butler.

What do you do with Wade then? Cause he's not opting out and nobody is trading real assets for him

I don't care just about college production I care more about how that player translates to the pros. College is such a different game then the pros that means little.

Gotta add in who the players playing for too. Self is not a guy who lets induvidual shine he has a rigged system he never strays from

I think these new advanced metric scouts who are slaves to college numbers are doing it wrong it's two completely different games

They told me Jordan Adams was one of the best prospects in the draft because of his high steal rate which they thought meant he was great athlete and defender :mjlol:

Thats where measurables come in.

I'd call the Sixers first. They have by far the most assets outside of maybe Boston

I see what you're saying, personally I would play him as a 3 or 4 with a traditional PG. That's why honestly I think they're coming for Lowry this offseason.

Lowry makes sense, especially if you can draft Sexton in next years draft and do what the Celtics have done, which is use young players on rookie deals to be your bench and eventual starters.
