Without me engaging in a huge discussion over this (I refuse to) please explain this

I feel like Minnesota's best option is to trade down. I don't like Markkanen or Isaac there, and Ntilikina is a better fit at the 2 than Monk would be for them. I feel he fits better with the rest of the roster than any of those other names.

Just checking.

I'm just trying not to infer my opinion on that situation unless really requested

Who do you think they should go with? I'd like to see them trade down for Jarrett Allen or Anigbogu.

Or even reach for Anunoby if they want a forward.

Minny needs to bolster their bench scoring, and for their young players to continue to mature as players. This pick is cool but their work primarily needs to be done in free agency. If theres a worthy big i think theyll take him because dieng aint a playoff starting big imo

Doesn't matter what I want or think. I'll just say you're not wrong in your approach.

And I'll echo @CarltonJunior's sentiments and just sum it up this way:

As long as that pick does not play much at all next year, I don't care who they select, for there isn't really a good pick they can make as far as next year is concerned.

Monk couldn't help you?

Monk couldn't help you?

A lot of players could come in and help them. But it's about who can help the most while hurting them in other areas the least.

So if they want to take a guard, Ntilikina is a better choice than Monk.

I actually think they need shooting badly.

This is the nightmare scenario for the Knicks.

I would really prefer to see Monk's name called in the first 7 picks.
