Eliezer-Vanerot might be one of the biggest second round sleepers, the more I watch the more he keeps rising. :patrice:

@Poitier How you feel about him? I think there's a case to be made that he's a top 10 SF in this class.

Every draft is a crap shoot. Even the most accurate of mocks get a fraction of it right.

The Spurs usually snatch up developmental Euros or players with super high BBIQ, but the Spurs made a long term move with Murray last year and perhaps someone like Milutinov makes the jump, but I could see them looking for a Green /Manu replacement who can play right away.

They already have Hanga stashed who is a Danny clone that can dribble...

Mulutinov wants to come over but that is going to hinge on Dedmon and Lee...Dedmon already opted out but no telling what he gets...no telling what Lee does since he got hurt in the WCF...if neither comes back then the Spurs will bring Milutinov over if not there is no point there won't be any minutes for him between LMA Gasol Bertans Anderson...better to wait until 2018 when Gasol is definitely off the books and LMA might be off the books to.

I'm hoping they take the most athletic guy available at whatever position they take...you can't win in the nba with suck ass players with high bbiq anymore like Kyle Anderson...

He has the tools to be a rotation guy down the line, if you can afford to wait. I don't see why a 2nd round draft and stash would be out of the question.

The Spurs need either a rim protector, or a multi-dimensional PF that can play the smallball 5.

He has a more NBA ready body than most of the other stash guys I feel. He could get minutes next season because of that plus his defense and athleticism.

Mathias Lessort would be a great fit. I'm sure they're looking at Cam Oliver as well considering they took Dejounte last year.

They already got the PF they need in Bertans. 6 "10" , puts it on the floor, shot as close to 40% from 3 as you can without doing it (39.9). Never stops moving. If you watch film of the spurs with him on the court they look so much closer to the 2014 offense. Aldridge is clearly a better basketball player but Bertans is so clearly better for what the spurs should be doing offensively that I would MUCH rather have him than Aldridge. In a perfect world I would legit just dump Aldridge and not even need anything back, player or pick. And I am taking the money he opens up and giving it to Bertans at the end of next year...

Ideally I would want to retain Dedmon...he crashed and burned pretty hard at the end of the regular season but he did it in a way that was logical...he played more minutes than ever...and he begin starting games meaning he is consistently playing against the other teams best players...but pop just tossed him to the side once the playoffs started...in part because he couldn't stop fouling but whatever all great defensive big men go through the i foul to much phase you got to let them get through it...don't see him back on the team...and I think the Pop ultimate desire is to bring Multinov over here who doesn't quite shoot it all the way out to the 3 point line, but shoots it well enough that he will once he gets to the spurs...and so it seems the spurs offense is going to be "my 6 "10 and 7"0" foot guy shoot it all the way out to the 3 point line...so either your bigs are coming out here are to guard them and :mjlol: at your wing players trying to stop Kawhi and Dejounte from getting to the rim at will...or use your bigs to pack the lane and :mjlol: at watching my 6 "10" and 7"0" bigs shoot 15 3's a game between them...quite possibly at an efficient rate since one is already shooting 40% from 3"

I much prefer a defensive big to go with my stretch big but it just seems like the spurs are going to play two stretch bigs and just rely on the fact that they coach defensive probably better than anyone in the nba so when it comes to rim protection they are going to just coach them up...that and just general upside of guys in their early 20's getting better every year...

Multinov
Bertans
Kawhi
Who cares as long as it's not Danny Green
Murray

This is a :merchant: lineup depending on how Multinov turns out...

oldest guy is Kawhi and he is 25:merchant:

The who cares just not Danny Green guy could be anybody from Simmons (:ehh:) to Bradley (:ooh:) to Paul George (:damn:)
