Thought pnr offense was one of Lonzo's biggest issues

He had TO issues but his combination of scoring + passing put him in an elite percentile in college. Most PGs are usually lopsided in PnR either favoring passing or scoring but Lonzo showed a balanced attack. Definitely has room to improve but its overstated as a criticism imo.

He's definitely not Fultz or Jawun Evans but I don't have a problem with his ability in the PnR. I think people just see the TO% and assume he can't run it at all.

Next years draft has a lot of bigs in it, these two guys will be in the range that Boston picks at -

I'm not really a fan of Ayton, but I certainly am not a fan of him in Boston, especially with Horford there.

Bamba is the way to go. Or even Robert Johnson would be great.

Bamba has the higher ceiling but he will take a longer time to develop than Ayton, especially if they do draft Fultz that's the PnR/P guy to play with Fultz almost immediately.

I don't think Boston can go with Robert Williams over either of these guys, just too much size (:dame:) to pass up on.

Lonzo can't get by anybody with dribble in half court and can't create

His game is fast break chucking 3s and passing along the perimeter

If he goes to Philly they are a nightmare to deal with offensively.

His ability to play off the ball combined with Ben Simmons own passing ability would be absurd.

That's fair, just not sold on Ayton yet.

Williams might be smaller but his wingspan is really close to Ayton's. He would be a good fit next to Horford.

I like Williams, but he's a PF while Ayton has legit center size and is already close to 250lbs.

I wouldn't be looking at who's a better fit next to Horford, can't plan your team around the 31 yr old C like that.

That's crazy

I like Isaac but he doesn't have the upside and creativity/wiggle with the Ball offensively to pick him top 4

@Malta

theory on why fultz is working out for LA?

:whoo:

It feels like the first time in forever that the consensus first pick is working out for the 2nd selection

They need a PF too. Williams has stretch potential like Ayton and looks like he'll be a rim protector. I just wouldn't take Ayton over him at the moment.

But none of this really matters if they can get Bamba, especially if he shows that his jumper is coming along.

i think all the guys at the top of next years draft have huge flaws

I know people love Bamba but his best case scenario is Gobert maybe?

He'll of a defensive player but Gobert/Bamba type players who are extremely limited on offense can't be one of your few best players on a contending team in today's offense/shooting 3's first NBA

On my big board he's not in the top 10, he'll definitely get picked top 10 though. Top 5 is too high.
