nikka, I literally just read this and you tagged me. He has a lot of Tech ties so he understands the rigors of the school. Whisenhunt must've flunked his interview because I thought for sure he'd get it if he wanted it since him and the AD both played together at Tech.
We'll see.
edit: Whisenhunt removed himself from consideration. Guess he's trying to get another NFL head coaching gig. So Collins must've really impressed then.
