I honestly don’t remember Gameday being used to push ESPN broadcast

Hell before the SEC took a nose dive most Gameday was mostly at SEC matchups dvery week and CBS has thst contract

You gotta remember games were less spread out then tho. They had the contract to everything. Fox ended up taking half the Big 10 and 12 games away and CBS with the SEC. Also dont forget about the demolition of the big east playing a factor to your memory too.

the pac 12, acc and one half of the big 10 have been trash this year

6-4 pitt that gave 1-8 unc their only win and got blow out by ucf will be playing in the acc title game
6-4 northwestern that lost to akron can finis the season 6-6 and will still ply in the big ten title game
pac 12 could realistically have a 4 way tie in the pac 12 south

Random but it doesn’t pay AT ALL to play tough non conf teams. We should have stuck with Arkansas instead of playing ND week 1 because tradition.
