Truthfully, KAT hasn't progressed. All the talk a few years ago that he was going to be the best big man in the game has gone. Thibs has gone to the more experienced players because they play defense. If KAT played defense, he would be more integral to the team. Same goes for Wiggins. Thibs actually played Butler when he was a rook because he earned it. Thibs loves tough players. If you show toughness and grit, he will play you. These young cats are so privileged. Can't handle and old-school coach.

How is Markennan a poor man's Porzingus? He had a better rookie season than KP did, and he appears to be the more skilled player compared to KP in his initial season.
No he didn't.
He averaged less than 9 minutes a game his rookie year.
He didn't start getting minutes until Deng was hurt his sophomore year. Even then, as soon as Deng got healthy, Butler went back to the bench.
Porzingus more fluid and athletic...and is a better rebounder..
