Yea he's going to make a better HC than he is DC. He doesn't have a genius defensive mind like Venables or Kirby. His recruiting so valuable though especially with all of the west coast kids. And he didn't have as much talent to work with as the previous DCs. Worst secondary and linebacker play we've had in awhile. The potential is there for another storybook type of run but this might be the hardest sched we’ve had under Gus. Seems like we say this every year but I think we play something like 5 top 10 teams and 6 top 12 (based on the current AP) and all of those teams except UGA should get betterThe year started off right .

Can't lie. That schedule loaded af. And 3 teams we play every year: Bama, UGA, A&M had the top 3 recruiting classes this year. And LSU was like 5th or something. Not trying to make excuses but that shyt is tough for anybody
