I think he's doing a lot better than I thought he would. All he needs is another SEC championship outright and I think he turns a corner. People on the outside don't get what's happening at Auburn right now. The excitement around Bruce Pearl and the basketball team competing at a high level has spread around the athletic program. One of the only schools in the SEC with a Black Athletics Director. It really ain't just about Gus'. His assistants are the one's doing most of the recruiting, and they are bringing in top talent. People really don't believe we should compete like we do, but somehow every few years we are competing for SEC Championships.....

They both will fall off. That doesn't mean they won't compete, just not like the past few years.... We see the ebbs and flows of college football all of the time. Saban leaves and Bama won't be the Bama "of old"....I actually think the fall off is happening right now...Clemson will hit their high point also.
