We thought that way about FSU the year after they won a title where they had to pull tons of games out of their asses but it turns out they just weren’t that good.

The past few years it’s gotten worse the distance between the top few teams in the country and everyone else

I guess the one positive is unlike the past few years at least you have a few teams that I think can clearly compete with Bama and Clemson if they make the playoffs. (OSU LSU Georgia)

I’m not putting OU in there. That defense is gonna give up 50 in the playoffs
