I was listening to sports talk radio today and a caller called in and said “I feel like if Gus pulled Bo and put Gatewood in, that would’ve destroyed Nix’s confidence” and the host was like “that’s the biggest crap I’ve heard, this is big boy football, Gus is getting paid big bucks to win, not to coddle a legacy, he should’ve put Gatewood in cause Auburn was not winning that game with Bo”.

Nah he shouldn’t have played Gatewood because Nix was struggling, he should’ve played Gatewood because you can’t have that kind of talent not see the field at all. That won’t be happening again tho

This probably the only way DJ Williams was gonna really see the field so that’s a positive. Also will force Gus to go back to prioritizing the passing game like what seemed to be occurring during the MSU game. IDK if Cac can actually throw but I at least want him completely exposed so we’re unanimous in running Joey out for LSU

It always seems unfortunate circumstances happen to make Gus play the players he should have been playing in the first place....That dude cannot evaluate offensive talent. Dillingham might have more sense than him.
