I think Arkansas is just in a bad spot geographically. They can't pull top players from Texas like they want to. They compete in one of, if not the best division in college football. They can't consistently get talent to win like they want. They get demoralized by beatdowns from those teams in their division and have down games....Petrino had the best offense to ever operate at Arkansas and they got close, but his defenses were not good. So they are pretty much a Big12 team in the SEC.

I think the homie summed it up best earlier ... Franklin goes as his best (offensive) player goes (as most CFB coaches) .. not a bum by any means but just outside of the tippy top tier of coaches ... and that’s ok . I’d take him
