Have to give a shout out to my local college football team, Sacramento State.


They didnt even win a conference game last season .


Might pull up to their FCS playoff game Dec 7 .

I knew they would be a problem when they hired Troy Taylor, but didn’t expect them to be this good this fast. They clinched on the causeway classic too.

Rivalry week, and I guess it's because it's Monday, don't have that same sense of hypeness as years past.

Bama vs Auburn....meh
UGA vs GT....who cares
OSU vs UM....cool i guess
Oregon vs Oregon State...really

etc etc. I don't even remember the last great rivalry weekend as far as leading into Saturday

FSU and UF haven't been on the same page record or relevance wise consistently since the 90's and our last top 10 game between both squads was 2012 (an outlier). OSU has turned the UM game into a joke since it's hard to call it a "rivalry" until UM wins a few....with all that being said....see y'all Saturday

I remember that year Ohio State and Michigan was #1 and #2. It was like the Super Bowl. People were talking like no matter what they would have to play again in the BCS. Both teams lost in their bowl games though. O$U in the BCS and Michigan in the Rose Bowl (I think by Vince Young Texas if I remember.)

Edit: I was wrong Michigan lost to USC in the Rose and Ohio State lost to Florida in the BCS. Both teams got smashed
