As much as I despise Bama I'm not ready to write them off.
They had some unfortunate injuries this year which they avoided in the past.
They didnt do themselves any favors though scheduling a bunch of cupcakes for their non-conference games.
As long as they keep bringing in those top 5 recruiting classes they'll be in the mix.
As far as Saban, he's the best college football ever (my opinion). When he leaves there is a chance they go back to being what be they were from from '93 until about '09.
These fanbases have unrealistic expectations of these coaches. I remember what happened to Fulmer in Tennessee and that program hasn't been the same since.

@Crude i hear you but I think they’re done ... they had a ridiculous class this year . More depth than 99.9 percent of teams they face ... and they still stunk it up . I don’t see them being a consistent playoff team anymore for the next few years ... I just don’t . Bout to be a “transition” period for them . Still top 5-10 but no consistent playoff appearances for the next few years .
You might be right.
It doesn't help them that Saban isn't getting any younger either. I can't see him doing it any longer than another 4-5 years.

True ... and mind you, a Bama “transition” period in this era based on what Saban has built will be better than the majority of these teams regular seasons
We sucked ass this season. I missed a lot of this season due to school and kind of glad because we suck so it was better than missing Miami actually being good. Manny Diaz sucks and is a liar, our 5* back is actually healthy but Manny lied and said he was not.
