Was just me and the wifey this year. She roasted a chicken, some dirty rice and asparagus. Nothing major. What you and the 1st lady of the podcast chow down on?

there is no First Lady currently ( long story) but i cooked a prime rib on the grill and made some gumbo

it was for the best bruh, no love lost, hey i do a lil razzle dazzle on the grill, i put a pan with beef broth rosemary and garlic to keep the air moist and flavorful

well the longer you grill the more chance for it drying out, obviously with prime rib it has a decent fat cap but still

i half the grill, so on one half i have charcoal , normally i leave the other half empty so i can smoke after i get it looking the way i want it, but this time, i put an aluminum foil pan on the other side, i filled it with beef broth, rosemary and garlic, so i got a nice sear then i slid it over the foil pan, so i have the heat from the coals and smoke hitting it, and then the moister from the pan circulating and steam rising up cooking it too plus the flavor in the pan
