This the trickle down effect. Iron Bowl gonna demand your best crew almost any given year. So in occasions where there’s another elite matchup, what is ESPN gonna do? Have McElroy do a top ~6 LSU or A&M? Have Tesitore do a top 8 Wisky?

I’d hope so..for me it’s every level they’d have to improve. Their segues going into commercial breaks are terrible, primarily the music choice. The lead ins to games suck, and those CBS graphics and “Gary’s Corner” are unfukkwittable. Their top announcing crews are great for national hype matchups but they don’t feel particularly “homely”.
I think they should give Peyton whatever to come commentate SEC GOTW. Maybe go down from there to like Jason Campbell or whoever else is an upstart SEC pundit.
