Hospitals don’t do these type of surgeries, those dr’s have their own clinics

Watching the replay of the Santana no hitter. I forgot how bad some of those Mets were. Gary mentioned Murphy had only 1 Homer coming into hunt. Who knew 3 years later he would win us a pennant and then lose a world series. Santana even would a bum arm was still the man. I wonder what 2015 would look like if Santana's am didn't fall apart, and he become what we hoped he would be

MLB Network is showing "A Postseason to Remember" about the 1986 postseason.

At 2:30 est they will replay Game 5 of the 1986 NLCS - Mets/Astros (Doc Gooden vs Nolan Ryan/Gary Carter walk off RBI single) and at 8 est, Game 6 - which is one of the greatest postseason games of all time.
Yes, I saw this game live in 1986 :old:

If you havent seen that game, it's definitely worth watching as a Mets fan.

Damn I forgot how much a 39yr old Nolan Ryan was DEALIN in this game :picard:

9 IP 2 hits, solo HR to D-Straw was the only mistake...12 Ks/1 BB

Doc pitched out of trouble almost every inning and ends up going 10 IP, 9 hits but just the 1 run

What a battle...both pitchers going 9 in a pivotal game 5 :obama:
