Do you think the round robin teams will have an advantage or disadvantage? Being able to rest and have time off is great, but if EVERY team has had a lot of time off and then a round robin team plays a team that just played a great series, it could be trouble.

advantage all you need is a hot goalie

teams like Montreal and rangers were dead in the water and now they have new life

these seedings mean absolutely nothing its all a toss up to me

No way that happens, I think I could see play-in games for 7-8 seeds like NBA was considering. That’s about it, this is a unique and one time thing imo. I do hope this is the end of the Wild Card and 1-3 divisional playoff format. 1-8 seeding should be permanent again.

24 teams making it in a 32 team league is too many breh lol. I think 16 making is fine as is. 30-35 win teams even in the artificial parity that is the NHL shouldn’t make the playoffs breh.

Yeah, just not being total garbage shouldn’t be the barometer for making the playoffs.
