NHL really should have considered using 2 arenas per city, because these long OT games are going to wreck the schedule. :mjlol:

Yea I don’t get why Northlands Coliseum wasn’t used in Edmonton and Maple Leaf Gardens still is used as a rink for a college. I get they aren’t modern arenas but still using 1 rink for 2-3 games a day wasn’t smart imo.

EDIT: Forgot about Coca-Cola Coliseum where Marlins play, who cares if it’s AHL building. Should’ve been used as alternate site as well.

For this year only, I would’ve tried 3 on 3 OT for the playoffs for the First Round only just so we could get all the games in, but I think it would be opposed by too many people :dry:
