Mackinon was one player I was mad the Habs didn't go full on tank mode for. He is a player you notice....cut of the same cloth of McDavid. Avs are so lucky

MacKinnon wasn't a standout his first four seasons. Didn't make a jump until year five. Def lucky he didn't sign one of those Matthews/Marner deals where it took him right to free agency.
