Texas was in a bad spot towards the end of the Mack era, Muschamp wouldn’t have done much there.

I do wonder if there’s a good landing spot for Muschamp, like Lane, he’s had better success as a coordinator than head coach but Lane was able to find the perfect landing spot at Ole Miss.

Probably not, some people are good at being a coordinator, and i believe that is his fate, dude doesn’t have the ability to run a program, but probably will whip your defense into shape and bring in talent. It worked out in the end that nikka got 2 bites of the head coaching apple, his money straight and his legacy is decent
