This is a very strange weekend, on paper it looks like we have all these great top 25 matchups but the spread says differently.
#8 Arkansas is an 18pt underdog to #2 Georgia and this game is on at noon for some strange reason
14 Michigan is a 2pt dog at unranked Wisconsin which means no one respects Michigan and they think they're fugazi.
#7 Cincy is a 2pt favorite at #9 ND despite ND beating the paste out of Wisconsin last week. No one respects them.
12 Ole Miss is a 15pt Dog playing alabama
Ohio State is ONLY A 15PT favorite playing a rutgers team they have beaten by a combined score of 156-51 over the last 3 years.

Convince the 150k living alumni to donate more towards the athletic program. Can't get mad at a university for behaving like a university. It's their sole purpose. Athletics shouldn't take precedent

They used athletics, primarily football, to boost their Marketing and attract top talent on the academic side of the house. It's only right to reinvest into the program.

Reinvest what $$? The alumni who are donating are doing it to the academic side of the house. They don’t care about sports. It’s like me and that school in Tallahassee. Why would I continue to give my few coins to a program that’s shown to manage it like an HBCU financial aid office? That’s stupid on my part. Throw in the “they don’t care” part and you’d have to have no common sense and not care about money to continue giving. Out of the many Canes fans I know, NONE of them are boosters. Out of the Tallahassee College of the Poor fans I know, a good 30-35% of them are boosters. This mostly a school issue but the fans aren’t putting up either.

The money that is coming in from the ACC Deal, gate along with other athletics deals should be funneled back into the program. Not running at a deficit. That's what I mean by reinvest. If your donors are cutting the check to the academic side of the house, then there's no reason to pilfer from the athletic department as these schools often do.
Also, alumni don't donate if the university hasn't done anything to make them feel welcome or gave them a reason to keep their money in their pockets.

I’m sure some of the football dudes have donated, quite a bit, but when the school gives them their ass to kiss, and doesn’t want most of the stars back then what can they do, this is on some animal house vs the president shyt, the football team thrives despite its powers to be not invested in the program, and doing only sparingly, can’t speak on the general alumni base, but even if boosters gave back they’d probably find a way to make them work for every dollar
