There are reasons why....

1. OU fans on here and in general are smart enough not to engage Texas fans because the shyt could go left...

2. OU has ran Texas for most of the time I've been alive, so there's really nothing to discuss. We know they want to have the success that OU has had for the past 20+ years. At this point, it's a normality. Texas has been supposedly back twice now has failed to beat us or win a conference championship even when we don't make it there. We let the media and the forum boards do the talking for us.

I'm sure this board and others will explode with OU hate if we lose Saturday though. They tired of seeing OU at the top! The Choklahoma slurs will return.

In the past 20 years we have a championship and another championship appearance, OU has *checks notes" neither of those things, oh wait you did get blown out by USC so an appearance. But keep beating your chest because you have more conference championships.

Lol. I'm not starting this bs. We won a nat title in the 2000 season, which is 1 yr off from 20 years and technically that title was won in the year 2001 in January. So within that 20yr time span, we've won one national title, and played for 3 others, been to college football playoffs more than anyone not named bama or Clemson, maybe OSU . We haven't won one yet, nope that's true. You got me there....but you haven't even sniffed close to an appearance.

Lucky for you the big 12 is dying because at this rate it would take you 80yrs to catch up to us in conf title wins, which in this particular conferences, you have to win in order to be a playoff contender.

If Card was playing I'd be more confident in an OU victory.

We had 1 possession in the 1st qtr vs Kstate. 1! And the week before that against West Virginia was very similar.

Unless Riley has been magically calling crapy plays to hide his secrets for this game, i haven't seen any reason to think we will put it all together this week. I guess it's possible.

But this game will NOT be over by half-time, unless it's yall ahead.

I know an OU education isn't worth much, but 20 years from today would be Oct '01, still after your last championship. I didn't make the terms, your fellow fan did. Y'all may have the most empty success of any college program I know. At least the few times we won the conference we actually made it count for something more often than not. And I didn't count the 08 appearance because y'all didn't deserve to be their and it showed.

He really isn’t. At least not yet. If you can stack enough 5 stars, you’re just going to be good. Right had some teams better than the 2021 team with even more talent (Stanford, AJ Green, Knowshown, etc.) they just kept losing that one game they shouldn’t have. And it was always because of the X’s and O’s aspect of coaching.

But our coach is a dead man walking, so I’m going to shut up.

He’s good, but essentially they got him to get over the hump, he’s doing everything in his power to get there this season will probably define him

He’s doing everything he can to put them in a position to be beyond great, the issue is, the baseline is championship or bust, and currently he what’s not won one, so people will judge him accordingly, not appreciating what he’s done/doing

They haven’t just beaten them. They’ve dominated and emasculated them lol.

The only team’s adjustments he hasn’t been able to handle is Bama’s. Just like everyone else. Don’t act like their adjustments didn’t almost bite yall in 2019 even as great as that team was. Had their been another 5 minutes it would have.
