a report came out that is saying it might not be super serious, Tony has him on the schedule to pitch next week

but Im not convinced, hes been struggling the second half and his velocity isnt there anymore. I dont think he'll be viable for the playoffs

which shrinks our rotation to 3 (Lance, Gio, Cease) because Kuechel is unpitchable in the playoffs with how he has been throwing

Lopez can start a game and go 3 innings I guess too

Losing Rodon is big because that forces Cease into starts when I think hed be best for 2-3 innings at a time since he strikes so many people out but also can struggle with home runs and walks. White Sox still got enough but definitely makes them vulnerable in a 7 game series

Might be some fukkery with the Jays/Rays series. Last game a play at the plate happened and the pitching plans fell out of Kirk's wristband and Kiermeier picked it up. Jays asked for it back and got the . Rays say they haven't done anything with it but we know that's a lie. It's going to be interesting to see how the rest of the series turns out.
