Dodgers team is crazy literally whole lineup can do damage. Once Cody get going I really don’t see who is beating this team.
Phillies can sustain the lead, even tho their pen is trash. interested to see how Suarez looks in full starts, really good this year in all roles
ATL pen is shaky, like the revamped lineup but dont like their back end guys. Rodriguez might help in the 9th but still shaky
Mets just cant hit, they are a low contact and low power lineup. pitching is injured, and Walker seems to be turning back into a pumpkin

loss of Laureano hurts, but the A/s can still contend with this new lineup. Marte has been amazing, and Harrison in the 7 hole helps turn the lineup over more than what it has with the 7-9 hitters they have been using. if Chapman ever gets going (big if at this point) its an above average lineup

I thought the mets were supposed to be good
They should be. They went from a "see ball, hit ball" offense to an analytics one where they are overthinking on what they're seeing and how they're swinging.
It's not a coincidence that in 2019 they were 6th in the NL and in 2020, they were 1st in the NL. That was under Brodie Van Wagenen. In 2021, Sandy Alderson has them employing a launch angle offense and as a result, the entire offense has been neutered.
Mets fans know that he was crippling them his first time around and Cohen, who is not a fan, brought him back in a baseball role. They're going to jump the gun and blow up this lineup when Alderson's philosophy is the culprit here.
Had they kept going with what was working, they'd have run away with the division. I'm not a Steve Cohen guy, so he deserves this but Mets fans don't.
