Now, once Riley arrived did he compliment their skill sets? Of course. Nobody ever said he's not a really good play caller. And if he drops his ego he can be great. But IF/WHEN he does that, he'll be doing things OU fans wanted him to do for a long time.

Jalen Hurts could NOT throw a deep ball at OU. Riley lost all confidence in him doing that, and by mid-season he tured him into designed qb runs or check option to Lamb every play. What he's doing now in the NFL is not Riley's doing. Every OU fan is truly surprised by his performances bc he couldn't throw deep at all.

He ruined Rattler though. And Caleb is amazing. He didn't fully know the offense when he came in against Texas. That's just how amazing he is

From what we've seen at SoCar, Rattler is just bad and built a rep off feasting on shytty comp in AZ in HS. Some players are just uncoachable and he strikes me as the type.

OC should have been fired. Scheme is horrible. Often times we have Rattler forcing shyt to try to make plays.Rattler should be better but the scheme is just bad. Sad thing is it basically the same thing that I see on Sunday with the Panthers. Gamecocks run the same offense as the Panthers and thats were we got Satterfield from. Folk begged Beamer to fire the OC and he touted that we gain 513 yard on UNC in a bowl game which we ran a gimmick ass offense.

He does have an attitude/ego(reportedly), but Riley did him no favors bc he is immobile.

Riley's offense require a qb who at the very least is not a statue.

That said, his arm talent/accuracy is top tier
