If the playoffs had been 12 teams since 1998, this is how often schools would have made it.

I think 6 teams with the top two teams getting a bye (like the NFL) would be a better number.

This year y'all nailed it in the portal with Gibbs, but missed badly with Burton. Just didn't replace what you lost with Jameson and Metchie. Need to switch it up with both of your coordinators. But I think the biggest issue is that big lineman up front aren't as scary as they used to be. Georgia got that dominant line juice now.

I'm not the biggest Bama fan, but Bryce Young and Jahmir Gibbs are two of my favorite players to watch. Your offense only works cause they make it work. They deserve better than Bill O' Brien.

You know what. You're right. Every year people go on and on over who should be in and all of that, only too watch two blowouts in the semifinals. BCS was consistently getting the two best teams.

Only I would see this year would be what if a team like had a year Michigan was having and a team had a year Ohio stae was having but they didn't play each other in the regular season. Also, what about if TCU had won out... but it's always worked itself out.
