wing only, not really a 4 even though someone will try him there. Super raw. I'd draft him but I'd have no plans on using him outside of blowouts.
I feel like that happens almost every draft the Raps have gone through. Someone with name value falls and Masai just takes someone nobody expects instead. The only time he's picked someone who fell was OG.
I could see guys like Jaden Hardy and PBJ falling and Masai picks someone like Moussa Diabete instead
I have an impeccable drafting record in tre's threads over the years. Nikola is the best option with the current setup of the board. He will take a few years to develop but will give us some needed offense. Who would you have taken?

Honestly, that's something I can answer for sure after the draft because where someone goes can impact this greatly. For example, Max Christie can wind up being a huge surprise, but he has to go to the right team. Otherwise he'll become a political prisoner.
I'm all for Jean Montero being the best PG in this class. If there's someone I just can't be sold on, it's Blake Wesley. You have to be sold on his athleticism and his defensive potential, but he's short for a SG, not a PG, can't draw contact, has no floater and can't shoot from 3. There's too much he has to get better at before I can utilize the stuff he's supposedly good at.
Surprised Jake LaRavia wasn't taken in the 20s yet in this mock

I wanna say Chet but not cause of his skills but cause I don't think his body will hold up. I'm wary that this current version of the NBA doesn't have the players to really punish his lack of weight and strength though
I think Jalen Duren will make an impact sooner than people think despite his age. He's so young but I think he can be a defensive force fairly quickly if he goes to the right team
Biggest bust, Dyson Daniels. Doesn't really do anything at a high level. Getting buzz off the rising stars game and supposedly growing to 6'8. had a small sample where he shot better after the all star break. You draft him high and I think you're going to be disappointed. He'll probably play for a while, but I don't see him as a star.
Biggest surprise is gonna be Jaden Hardy. The g league ignite experience dropped his stock significantly but if he gets drafted in the 20s to a good team, he's going to be a good position to contribute to a good team right away. That g league ignite team was horribly coached and constructed. Just the worst group of vets and g leaguers that they could've surrounded the kids with. If he went to college or OTE, he would've been top 10.
