Lol at this nikka Dyson Daniels suddenly being 6'8 and still growing fukking cap :mjlol:
In a way he's hurting his stock a bit. He wants to be the "I can guard 5 positions" guy in a draft where teams are like "can you run point?"

@lightskin jermaine Spurs are up
@dtownreppin214 Dallas right after

It’s kinda strange how Dyson went mid 20s pick to potential top 5 pick right after the combine. Do jumps like that ever work out? I don’t really trust a guard who struggles with ball pressure. I also don’t trust someone who’s main asset is defense as a guard.

Liking Dalen Terry more and more.

6'7, 7'1 wingspan, terrific playmaking, terrific defense, shifty handle.

Only thing is that he's a sophomore so he's an older prospect.

Definitely fits the tall playmaker mold.

Lakers/Clippers got no draft picks so I'm hoping Houston walks away with whoever they pick up in the top 3 and either Dalen Terry, Dieng or Tari.

Agreed. I'm never a fan of these jack of all trades, master of none types because it's extremely rare that they pan out. I've watched him play a bunch of times and he didn't seem like anything special to me. He looked like a capable secondary playmaker but he has an extremely rough looking jumper. If you're a guard in the nba, you better be able to shoot.

Btw, I think that jump happened after he played at the rising stars game and Schmitz (formerly of DX/ESPN, now assistant GM of the Blazers) hyped him up like crazy off that one game

2 things:

It's more like Daniels and Hardy swapped draft spots. In fact, many of the guys who had high draft slots fell.

Hardy, Baldwin, TyTy, Beauchamp, Brown, Houstan, Jovic, etc.

Bro I was looking at mock drafts right before the combine and he was late teens early 20’s and then Givony posted his pro day workout and hyped him up like crazy and he jumped up like crazy.

I’ll be shocked if Hardy isn’t the best pro out of all these guys. Beauchamp going before him is insane to me. He’s in that Maxey mold minus the quickness.

This draft is going to be extremely unpredictable. I think after 8 or 9, we're gonna have a bunch of situations where highly touted guys are going to fall like crazy while you see a bunch of relatively unknown guys getting drafted way above their projected draft slots.

Only player in this draft I've seen play in person and on TV is Jabari(I'm an Auburn fan).

The kid has skills. You can tell he's been working with good trainers. Sometimes he played like he had 50% of KD's game and didn't want to explore the slashing and playmaking that really puts KD over the top though. He likes to shoot jumpers. He tries to use his height advantage to shoot J's first and everything else last.

The NBA will give him more freedom and space but he has to be aggressive and make the most of it. Hopefully he has a good coach that helps him develop because the talent is there.

Rating the guards is gonna be a challenge. This is a scout's draft. How confident is a team to be able to fix the shyt they're bad at? Whoever can will win.

If I broke down each guard (even Montero who I like), most teams would get scared off. These guards come in less and less prepared
